The Brotherhood of Greater Barbour's will host a Family & Friends Day. In working with the 99th Anniversary Committee, former Interim and now youth pastor, Reverend Walter C. Pinkney, Sr. discovered some history about Barbour's hosting the first school for African American children; that occured over 91 years ago.
The event will take place on Sunday, November 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Barbour's. We will honor the history, any remaining staff and the school. Gather your classmates and save the date for a Family reunion Barbour's & Booker T. Bulldogs! More details to come!
